Meet Our Team

Dr. Foss makes her office a fun place to visit. As you enter into each operatory, you will notice all of the rooms are decorated in an inviting décor of animals from different places around the world. She enjoys traveling and taking pictures. She also has a great love for animals and enjoys photographing them. You will notice that she and her staff are usually laughing and joking around, which makes her office feel like a family environment.

Dr. Foss opened her private practice in 2003 after serving in the United States Army as a dental resident. She is a loyal fan of Oklahoma University, her alma mater, from which she graduated dental school in 1990. Her gentle hand and that great smile prove most inviting in what can sometimes be a nervous situation.

Carrie graduated from the University of North Texas with a BBA in HR management. She joined North Mesquite Dental Group in October 2003. She loves the family environment and the patients who are like extended family. Carrie ensures a happy, friendly environment, and is always willing to do what it takes for our patients’ success. Carrie is married to Abdel, and they have a daughter named Zahara. Carrie loves coaching little league cheer, volunteering for girl scout events and keeping up with her kid’s activities and sports.

Celia started working at North Mesquite Dental Group in May of 2023. As a team player she helps with anything she can, and her favorite part about this place is the team. She has two older sons (the oldest being in college) and two younger daughters. Celia loves to volunteer, especially at church. She attends a family group in her congregation since she is part of the Mass with kids. Celia also likes any sport and loves to watch world cups and the Olympics.

Sarah attended dental hygiene school at El Centro College where she graduated in May of 2020. Being a hygienist has been a very fulfilling career for her. The best part about North Mesquite Dental Group is that everyone is treated as family. Dr. Foss has treated the same patients for years who love coming here. Sarah listens to each patient’s needs and accommodates them so that they have a relaxing and enjoyable experience when coming in. She loves helping improve a patient’s smile and educating them on the mouth-body connection and how our oral health relates to our overall health. Family is the most important thing to Sarah. She and her husband were married on September 30th, 2022, and have been together since 2017, and they brought their beautiful baby boy into the world in August 2023. Most of her free time is spent with her family. She loves to watch sports (football, basketball and volleyball) and to go on outings to the park or shopping sprees.

Emilia was born in El Salvador, growing up in New Jersey before she moved to Texas, which she now calls home. She became an RDA in March of 2023 after coming to work here in August of 2022. The best part about working here is her interaction with the patients and learning more about the profession. She likes to contribute by trying to be a professional and treating our patients with respect and professionalism. Emilia’s family is the most important part of her life; without them, she would not be where she is now. In her free time, she enjoys watching sports and hanging out with her family.

Lizette attended Pure Dental Academy where she received her RDA license and graduated in November of 2022. She joined our practice in October 2023 and contributes by making patients comfortable and happy with the outcome of their care. She loves how organized and friendly everyone is and how everyone is very communicative. Her hobbies include traveling, going on runs and going to concerts.

Mely attended Concorde Career College from 2012-2013, having brought over 12 years of experience in dentistry and working with specialists when she started working with us in February 2024. She enjoys the teamwork and happy vibes that are always present here, and how we will make it a cheerful, fun environment for you if it is not already. Mely is open to whoever comes in, keeping a positive and cheerful attitude. She looks forward to the plans Dr. Foss has in store for all of us and continues to grow with this team and build friendships with the new faces of our patients. Mely’s hobbies include going to the gym, to church, having part-time coffee and having adventures with her boyfriend.
